Too young to retire! Posted November 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2013 Hello. Does anyone know of you get VIFP points on Carnival for more than one cabin when you actually booked 4 cabins total on the same cruise. We are bringing our whole family with us and paying for the whole thing. How would this work for VIFP points? Thanks everyone.:)
CruiserBruce Posted November 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2013 The far better place for your research is the Carnival board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
Rare 1025cruise Posted November 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2013 VIFP points go to the person sailing, not to the person who pays the bill.
sail7seas Posted November 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2013 VIFP points go to the person sailing, not to the person who pays the bill. Same on HAL. Mariner Days are awarded to the person staying in the cabin no matter who paid the fare.

Bonnie J. Posted November 24, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 24, 2013 Carnival now counts the DAYS each person spends on board. They do not count the number of cabins anyone books or the number of Carnival cruises you've been on. They started this in end of July, 2012. First time Carnival cruisers get a blue sign 'n sail card. Then red, then gold, platinum and after 200 days, a diamond card.
