Allure concierge lounge question

Hi,

We are two able bodied cruisers in our early sixties. We are booked in a grand suite on deck 12. Do we need to go down to deck 11 to access the bar area, coffee machine etc.

Would deck 11 be more convenient? Any recommendations? This will be our first time on the oasis class where we will have access to the lounge.

The entrance to the CL is on Deck 11.

We booked the 11th floor for the sole purpose of easy access to the CL. Just an FYI there is only 1 GS left on the 11th floor, and it is a connecting cabin. I am not sure if you can access through the 12th floor (where Chef'sTable takes place) using your room "key" and just take the stairs to the 11th floor.

Can anyone answer that?

You cannot. As FLACRUISER wrote, the entrance is on Deck 11.

Being on Deck 11 can be convenient, but one floor away is not INconvenient.

In December, we carefully booked cabins on Deck 11. Then the evening happy hour was changed to Dazzles on Deck 8! ;)

if your cabin is near the aft elevators you are in a good place.. we were on deck 10 and found it convenient to just go up the stairs and right there is the entrance to the CL... if your cabin is very far forward I would suggest you see if you can get your cabin moved .. otherwise you will be doing a lot of walking if you wish to spend time in the cl lounge... either deck 10, 11 or 12 towards the aft elevators are very convenient

We did a Boardwalk Balcony on deck 12 on Allure. As D+ we had Concierge Lounge use. It was FANTASTIC! Being on deck 12 is no big deal at all. As others have said, for convenience be somewhere near the aft stairwell, then just drop a floor and there you are (we are also in our 60's). I would find the best cabin in the best location over booking deck 11 just so you don't have to go up or down a floor or 2.

Enjoy the Concierge lounge. It really is a great deal!
