I could never ever do that. I'd have so much anxiety. However, with so many flights cancelled these past few days, it's possible they didn't originally plan to do that.

We do have great winter weather. I lived in Massachusetts for 62 years before retiring to southern NM. So, I'm rewarding myself for the years of shoveling, skidding, and getting stuck in snow banks..:)

Many flights are being delayed here in the north.

We were to get only 2 or 3 inches. 6 inches and it is still coming down.

The Captain sure sounded irritable. Asked if they were independents - I didn't hear the response. But I got the feeling he won't wait if they are.

I have to wonder. If I was supposed to leave on a cruise, even if I was traveling a few days early, and I saw a weather system coming in like the one now, I would try to change my flight to fly out even earlier.

We have blizzard conditions with many of the major highways in southern Ontario closed due to accidents.

Checking in from frigid New Jersey. I was supposed to be watching this from FLL, but someone had other plans for us.

We're having a very foggy day here today, so damp and cool (four-letter words, but not as bad as "cold" and "snow")!:)

 

He's saying the missing pax are from Miami - I guess that means Miami Airport?

we did exactly that a few years ago. Frustrating as if you don't move quickly, you don't get flights. We had to pay the change fee despite the warnings. Five hours later the air line announced no change fees - I went back to them with no luck - of course all the flights were booked too. LOL.

 

When there are limited flights you have to move quickly. That's the bad thing about taking these puddle hoppers (as sapper1 calls them) and living in the middle of nowhere.
