languageartslady Posted February 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Does anyone have a photo of a current seapass? I haven't been on Celebrity since 2009, and I was just wondering if it has changed. Thanks!
Rare cruisestitch Posted February 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Different colors are used for different classes of stateroom and also for different levels of Captain's Club; there isn't a single SeaPass card for all.
languageartslady Posted February 3, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Right, the colors change, but isn't there an overall look? And I know that even if someone is kind enough to share, it could change before my cruise. I just was wanting to see what had changed since I had seen it for myself. :)

languageartslady Posted February 3, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Okay, what did you search for? Even when I searched for sea pass and Celebrity, I could only find ones from 2006 and RCCL ones. Thanks! :)

DebbieMacG Posted February 3, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2014 I don't have a photo but they don't look like that now. They changed them late April early May 2013
languageartslady Posted February 3, 2014 Author #8 Share Posted February 3, 2014 "Celebrity seapass" on Google Image. Curious why you want to see one, though. I enjoy looking at menus, photos, dailies, etc in order to get excited for my upcoming cruise, and to survive when stuff is stressful at work. It's been awhile since I've been on a Celebrity cruise, so I was curious about the changes. Plus, I have a beverage package (like practically everyone else), and I was curious about what it looked like on the card. I am more familiar with the soda package. I had read one of the innumerable boards about the packages and I saw it mentioned it is listed on the card. Ergo, I was curious, and since I wasn't finding what I wanted on the boards or google, I asked here. :)
JanineM Posted February 3, 2014 #9 Share Posted February 3, 2014 The card is different now - not like the old ones. A bit more modern looking. Maybe you could let this be one thing you can wait for? Isn't half the fun the things you aren't expecting???

cle-guy Posted February 3, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Mine used to be white, more recently dark blue.I never understood the significance of the colours. Colors indicate Aqua, Suite and Concierge from standard cabins (light blue/silver/gold respectively). Dark Blue is standard cabin - Veranda, Ocean View or Inside, not sure what the dark blue one with stars is....?

JasYHZ Posted February 3, 2014 #15 Share Posted February 3, 2014 What's the dark blue with stars one signify? I think it's for the under 18's; there's stars and a set of headphones I think and a basketball. I'll take a closer pic this evening and see if I can get it clearer... Rare mahdnc Posted February 8, 2014 #19 Share Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) That's correct, it's for guests under the age of 18. On our Dec 28 2013 Eclipse cruise, our 18 yr old son had the SeaPass card with the basketball and stars symbol in the upper right hand corner (see 2nd card below). His card is stamped with an "M2" designation which presumably is for minors that are still under 21 yrs old (but at least 18). During this cruise as an 18 yr old, he was allowed to play in the casino but could not be served alcohol. Presumably there is an "M1" designation for minors that are under 18. languageartslady, as requested, here is a photo of two of our SeaPass cards from our recent cruise. The "CALL" designation under package type on the first card is for the Classic Alcohol Beverage Package: Edited February 8, 2014 by mahdnc

cle-guy Posted February 9, 2014 #21 Share Posted February 9, 2014 Perfect! Thank you! I like how it's changed, and I was also wondering about the package information, which I see on yours. You answered both! :) It's not uncommon that if you get the classic package, and upgrade prior to boarding to the premium package to have the card be missing the preprinted info for the premium package in which case they affix the sticker. You can get a reprint if you care to at guest services, but the sticker works just fine if you get it.

Rare cruisestitch Posted September 16, 2022 #24 Share Posted September 16, 2022 Pretty much the same. Occasionally you get a sea pass that is printed in portrait mode rather than landscape mode
