The Upgrade Fairy Came

Little it of background - Last spring I booked the 10 day Eastern Caribbean Voyager leaving Feb 17 for my DH, DS, and DD to enjoy a getaway from the Canadian winter. This is also only the second time we have ever cruised.

 

Got a call from Princess cruises inventory department yesterday and guess what I got - a FREE UPGRADE from two inside cabins to a FULL FAMILY SUITE w/balcony(with all the perks :)) - WOOOHOOO!!!!! I can't believe it actually happened to us!

 

I'm going out to buy a lottery ticket ;)

Cabins aren't cheap on those Emerald 10 day sailings, that is quite the upgrade! Enjoy every minute of it, and be sure to go to Sabatinis for breakfast.

Yes I'm quickly researching all of the 'perks' and will definitely enjoy a breakfast (or several) at Sabatini's.

 

Ordering from the menus will be another great benefit I plan to enjoy.

 

Are there any other privileges that really shouldn't be missed?

We have done 23 Princess cruises with only one upgrade from a mini-suite to owner's suite for Alaska.

 

Took my mother and it was her first cruise. Now, I can't take her on a cruise because she will always expect a huge suite. Ha Ha Ha!

 

The family suite looks really nice. Enjoy!

 

P.S. A little advice. Print up suite benefits on the website and utilize all that you can!

We booked an inside stateroom for a short 5-night to the eastern Caribbean for this April. Is anyone eligible for a surprise upgrade? We've never had an inside (always balcony), but decided to give it a try to save a few bucks.
