Rootbeer?? Ginger Ale??

Is there Rootbeer on the Princess Star? If so, what brand? Cans, bottles or fountain?

 

Is Ginger Ale available? In cans only or fountain?

I can usually find ginger ale on Princess ships. I don't recall about the Star, specifically. Once I was told "only at the pool bars" - not sure why.

I've gotten ginger ale in the can at the International Cafe and also thru room service on several of Princess ships. There are also cans of it included in the elite minibar.

I can't remember the ginger ale brand...was it Canada Dry? Ginger ale may also be available with the soda package dispensed from the soda "gun" at the bars.

We have never had ginger ale as part of the bar setup.

 

Tonic water yes; but ginger ale no.

- Two (2) 50ml bottles Gin – Beefeater

- Two (2) 50ml bottles Vodka – Skyy

- Two (2) Cans Beer - Dos Equis

- Two (2) Cans Tonic Water

- Two (2) Cans Coke

- Two (2) Cans Sprite

- Two (2) .5 Liter Waters

- Two (2) 11oz Perriers

Room service has cans of ginger ale available. I haven't ordered it at the bars (so I don't know about them), but I have requested and received cans of ginger ale as replacements for some of the items in my elite or suite minibar.

To answer the OP's question about root beer since the discussion has been just of ginger ale, the brand I've seen is Barq's (which is a Coke brand) on Princess.

ginger ale is available in all of the places that serve drinks (MDR, horizon court, bars, club fusion, pool area, etc), through the soda gun. We had the unlimited soda card -- you cannot get it on the regular soda card (nor root beer, but we don't know more about root beer if available via soda gun or not because we never got around to ordering it). Don't know what ginger ale or root beer costs separately. Ginger ale must be available via cans as it is one of the options if you buy the 6-for-price-of-5 can package.

I always call room service and switch out the Sprite for the ginger ale. It's never been a problem.

Thanks, I wouldn't have thought about ordering root beer, but I love root beer with pizza. I'll keep that in mind for our next cruise.

 

I'm pretty sure the ginger ale on the Ruby in January was Schweppes, or maybe it used to be Schweppes.

I was also served Seagram's Ginger Ale. It was on Star Princess.
