We had early dining, so not a lot of time after we re-boarded to get ready for dinner. Tonight's dinner was Animator's Palate, which is the restaurant I was most looking forward to after reading about all of them before the cruise. Tonight was also Pirate Night!

The chairs were very cool too.

Allison really loved the windows in the hallway leading to Animator's Palate as well. We had to stop at every one!

After dinner we decided to take Allison to the nursery so that we could go to the show and then check out the District area of the ship afterward.

We did not make reservations ahead of time when we used the nursery, but we never experienced them being too busy or being full, so I am not really sure how necessary advanced reservations usually are.

Tonight's show in the Walt Disney Theater was Villains Tonight! Villains Tonight! was a pretty good show, I didn't think it was as good as The Golden Mickey's the night before, but still very enjoyable.

After the show we wanted to check out the District area of the ship which is where all of the ship's bars are located. The District is adults only after 9PM.

Triplets?? OMG! How did you ever sleep when they were babies?! I was exhausted with 1!! I was very nervous that I might end up with twins becuase there are like 4 sets of them in my family.

how did Allison do in the nursery? Did she cry when you left her? Stella cried the first time, so we barely used it

Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

She did very very well. She goes to daycare 2 days a week at home, so she is pretty use to it. She heard Doc McStuffins playing on the TV and was all for going in!

Really enjoying your review my dear! Our family group of 10 will be sailing out on the Dream on Dec. 1st (Mom's B-day). :D My soon to be 9 year old granddaughter will be the only child in our group. This will also be our first Disney cruise and, I'm most interested in your pics and review of Castaway Cay.

I have learned from my previous cruises that the "bar scene" really can vary dramatically from cruise to cruise, even on the same cruise line. My first Carnival Cruise was a 4-day cruise from Miami to Key West & Cozumel- lots of drinking, crowded bars, lots of nightlife. My most recent cruise before Disney was the 7-day cruise from San Juan on Carnival, with only 1 sea day and ports of call every morning by 8AM, very little nightlife, empty bars, even in the earlier part of the evening, etc. So I went into this Disney cruise thinking that the bars would probably not be hopping all the time, but it still is a shorter Bahamas cruise, so maybe there would still be some nightlife. There really wasn't much.

Our first stop was the district lounge where there was a singer performing, for the 8 people that were there. We didn't stay long enough to find out if she was any good or not.

Next we peeked into the Sports Bar, 687. PLENTY of empty bar stools here...

It did look really really nice though. I would def be spending some time here on a longer cruise.

I think there was 1 other table of people in here. We did relax and have a drink. They had a nice selection of martinis, I dont remember exactly what we had though. Nothing happening here, so lets head over to Pink.
