jerseygirl3 Posted May 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Is it just me or do others find those wooden loungers in the Solarium on the S-class ships extremely uncomfortable? There are only two notches for adjusting the back, and it doesn't allow for a comfortable position for reading. I've tried putting a few extra rolled towels behind my back, but I still find them uncomfortable. So....is it just me?
WestLakeGirl Posted May 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2014 No you aren't alone.....people complain about them frequently. Have even seen someone drag one of the loungers from the outside pool area into the solarium because the solarium loungers aren't comfortable

Rare cruisestitch Posted May 4, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 4, 2014 I'm another one who does not like the loungers in the S-class solarium. I have given up trying to get comfortable in them, unless I want to sleep and lower them to a nearly flat position. I can't get the back upright enough to make it comfortable to read in them, and no amount of rolled up towels helps. I wish they had more variety of chairs in that area, more tables and chairs. The funny-looking "beanbag" chairs are uncomfortable, too, and are so low to the ground they are hard to get in and out of. It's a shame, because the Solarium would be my favorite area if the seating was better.
Rare Azulann Posted May 4, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 4, 2014 With a rolled up towel they work fine for me for reading.
