Rare steamboats Posted March 22, 2016 #1901 Share Posted March 22, 2016 That likely means kids won't be allowed up there as you can only get to them through Solarium. My kids loved going up on the front as well. Shouldn´t be a problem at all. Kids are allowed in the Solarium Bistro. Kids are allowed on the wing bridges. Kids are not allowed to stay in the Solarium. So walking through shouldn´t be a problem. steamboats

I'd say that we're finally going to see some construction of the dry slides. :D

The higher you lift your butt the faster you go. Our cabin on the Harmony TA will have a view of the slides but not so up close and personal :D

papcx Posted March 23, 2016 #1915 Share Posted March 23, 2016 What is the earliest check in time you got Mine was half 11 Yeah. 11:30 was the earliest I could get as well. I'm still going to be there earlier. Rather wait at the port with a chance to get aboard than in a hotel. dedosr Posted March 25, 2016 #1919 Share Posted March 25, 2016 Our check in time on our upcoming Harmony Cruise is 11 am. Still waiting for Quantum on line check in to open. With that being said, the times are not strictly adhered to. When we did our Quantum cruise, the first with the new check in procedure, our boarding time was 12:30 to 1:00. We arrived early, were seated in roped off areas designated by times. When they began boarding, they first started with suites and then to the "times". It went quickly. Prior to calling the next time, they made announcements that if your boarding time was before the one they just called, come right up. (As people were continually coming in). We were on the ship by noon. It was a very easy and smooth process. The only thing that interfered with the smooth process were the ones that line butted and pushed in front of other people, but you will always have this. However, karma caught up with the rude people. They realized the left something behind at their seat and head to leave the line to get it, and ended up at the rear of the line. :)

The sea calls my name Posted March 26, 2016 #1921 Share Posted March 26, 2016 dedosr , I read your post related to your check-in time. I am showing my ignorance. I have cruised many times with RCCL and have never received a check-in time prior to arriving at the terminal. My DH and I are booked for the Nov. 19, 2016 sailing on the Harmony of the Seas. We have not received any information regarding a check-in time. I just went to the web-site and it says check-in can not occur until 90 days prior to sailing. Can you please tell me what I am missing or not doing that I should be doing. Any information would be very much appreciated.

Once you've checked in on the website (within 90 days), they eventually, normally a week or so before the cruise they will email you a "check in time", it's basically a nice email which you can swiftly ignore and just show up when you had already planned too. Could Harmony, having the same technology as Quantum and Anthem, be using their check in system or parts of it and actually assign specific check in times? I'm not sure if it would make sense as terminal 18 is already set up for standard check in. It would seem confusing to me to try to do 2 different types of check in procedures out of the same terminal but then again this is Royal. Edited March 26, 2016 by Ourusualbeach
