2 Balconies or a Suite?

Hello! I need some advice. I am cruising the Breeze with my DH and DS 6 and DS 20 months. We have a suite booked but I'm starting to wonder if two connecting balcony cabins would be better. I called Carnival and they have availability. Which would you choose to cruise with a family and why?

If you choose two cabins you will be paying four adult fares. If you are all in a suite you will be paying for two adults and two children.

I don't cruise Carnival, so I am not familiar with the perks associated with their suites, but in general in edition to the extra space you get additional amenities. One question, is there actually a separate bedroom in the suite? If not you will have more privacy with two cabins. I would weigh in the cost versus what you would get extra plus the privacy factor of both.

You will get 2 bathrooms with the balcony cabins, 1 with the suite. How many people are in your party and what are their needs?

Stick with the suite..`1 bathroom for 1 child and 2 parents is fine. The baby is likely still in diapers, no?

When the kids get older, go the 2 cabin route! But, at this age, you'll do great in a suite

Carnival has virtually no "suite perks", so you book a suite for the space, not the perks!

You would have to make sure those two balcony cabins have a connecting door between, and not connect just via the balcony. And that cabins that connect through the wall of the cabin will not be able to connect via balcony. EM

Unless the suite has a separate bedroom I would definitely go with the two connecting balcony cabins. We did this on HAL in Feb with our kids and it worked out great. Really nice to have a 2nd bathroom and separate sleeping space for the kids. And as someone else mentioned the perks of booking a suite on Carnival are pretty minimal.

One other thing you might want to consider is which option has a tub for bathing the kids. Those balcony cabins might be showers only where the suite likely will have a tub.
