Travel Ins. that would cover pet/dog's death?

For all pet parents do you know if there is a travel insurance policy that would cover you in the loss of a pet just before cruise?

 

I am sure this is a beyond a long shot, but I had to ask!

If you mean that you would want to cancel your cruise because of the death of your pet (would anyone actually do that), I imagine that "cancel for any reason" would cover the problem.

As stated above, 'cancel for any reason' means just that.

Just realize that "cancel for any reason" has its own limitations. You will not get all your money back, just a percentage (varies by policy, could be 50-75%). Also, you must cancel within a certain time before you depart for your trip; usually at least 24 hours in advance.

 

There seems to be insurance for everything, so maybe with some looking you could find such a policy!
