Too early to book 2016, FOS??

Want opinions from seasoned RC cruisers! Have a family planning on reserving 6-8 cabins on Freedom of the Seas for March 7-14, 2016....yes, 2016! Is it toooo early??? Of course, we want the best price and perks!!! Any advice??

Freedom itineraries should be available through April 2016.

We already booked Freedom of the Seas for the week following yours. We got a great deal with the pricing that was available, plus Crown & Anchor pricing, plus the BOGOHO sale. We figured it was better to book now, figuring that we could always reprice the cruise if it were to drop, which I doubt will happen.

 

BTW, I think you may have your dates a bit off since the sailing is on March 6, 2016.

Never too early to book. If you book by July 15 you will still qualify for the BOGOHO promotion. If the rate goes down before final payment, you can get the lower rate. In my experience, most cruise prices go up. These dates have been available since late March or early April, so have probably already gone higher than the original prices. We nearly always book far in advance to get the lower price and our choice of cabin.

We have BR booked for Jan. 2016, SOS for Feb. 2016 and Liberty for April, 2016. All have increased in price since we booked!

Not bad. My rule of thumb is $100pp/per night for a balcony is a good price.

Booked D2 balcony May 12th for Feb 21st 2016, price was $1671.30. It is now $2036.30.

We are booked on FOS for the week of March 6, 2016. We have six cabins booked. I thought we got great prices with the BOGO offer and Crown and Anchor discount. Something to look forward to!
