We are going to Venice for the first time and obviously there is so much to see - where do we start?? There are so many ship tours I don't know what to plump for. Thank you in advance..... KirkNC Posted July 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2014 I would recommend Rick Steve's Med book, covers lots of ports. Also be sure and check the individual port of call forums here on CC, lots of info.
paul929207 Posted July 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2014 You should also check the Roll Call for your cruise.

Rare Essiesmom Posted July 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2014 I second getting a copy of Rick Steves' Mediterranean Cruise Ports. He tells you what there is to see in each port, and how much of it you can do in the time you have. He does not cover Sicily or Kotor, but recommends Lonely Planet for those areas. Kotor is easy to do on your own on foot. On Rick Steves' website, he has free audio tours with maps to download to ipod/mp3. Lots of spots in Rome, Pompeii, Venice...EM
