sppunk Posted August 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) The last several sets of menus I've seen, including Roy's current posts from Statendam and crew news' Westerdam menus from earlier this summer, have not listed salmon in the "always available" section of the MDR dinner menus. The listed entrees are only the chicken and steak. Has anyone experienced this? We cruise in two weeks from today and this would make a very unpleasant DW as she is a fishivore and orders it nightly ... sail7seas Posted August 24, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2014 PLEASE say it isn't so. In a 14 day cruise, I order that salmon at least 5-6 evenings.

GRACECRUISE Posted August 24, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2014 We just got off last week and it was available. They did not have caesar salad listed and it was available. Our server said it was just a printing error. He said all you had to do was ask for it. They also had salmon listed as the fish many many nights. sppunk Posted August 24, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted August 24, 2014 I think I stand corrected: I double-checked and salmon is listed on Roy's Statendam posts, it just is a little different as it's listed as a pesto salmon. Crisis likely averted ...

Daisyloo Posted August 24, 2014 #11 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Salmon was on the always available menu on the Zaandam in July. There were also lots of other fish choices over the week that we really enjoyed.

Lizzie68 Posted August 24, 2014 #16 Share Posted August 24, 2014 I order the salmon pretty much every other night, so I sure hope it is still on the menu. HAL does it just the way I like it.

MickyBee Posted August 24, 2014 #18 Share Posted August 24, 2014 You really had me worried! I'm a pescetarian and salmon is my favourite fish; I would have been extremely disappointed if I had to go seven days without it. Michele

Harry1954 Posted August 24, 2014 #20 Share Posted August 24, 2014 glad it wasn't true as DW chooses it when she can't eat the normal choices on menu due to her allergy to egg products. harry

taxmantoo Posted August 24, 2014 #23 Share Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) I am not a salmon lover and so I say: "Thank goodness," You don't have to order it if you don't like it. Why would you be happy that other people might be deprived of something they appreciate? What a selfish reply!
