Back on the Enchantment once again! ~~ Solo Picture Review ~~

If anyone has ever read any of my past reviews, I always spend days in Nassau at Junkanno beach, (free public beach) that’s only a short walk away, and that was my plan today. However, a large group of 10 walks up to the Oasis Bar on the pool deck. I’m just minding my own businesses having my usual Stella, and I notice a few of them I’d met previously. Well we they invited me to spend the day with them in Nassau, at the Atlantis. I quickly said, I don’t have a pass to get in! They said, “Don’t worry about that, well take care of it” Talk about a WOW moment, I mean a solo passenger invited with a group of 10! I’ve actually never see the whole hotel, only the lobby and shops previously. So off we go!

 

After 14 years she is a good ole looking lady.

As we were walking over to the taxi's you will see a lot of horse carriages, we noticed a few of them had ring worms. There was someone in our group who tried to tell them a cheap way to treat this, and the owner just slapped the horse and said she is fine. This was a pretty sad moment in the day, and few tears came out.

 

We did talk about there was nothing we could do right now to help them, but the animal lover said she was going to look into support groups in the area to help them.

The cost for a cab to the atlantics was $4/pp. We did all manage to fit in one large van over and didn’t take longer than 10 minutes.

 

And there she was! I've seen this hotel from a distance countless times, but it's quite break taking up close.

I use Lightroom 5 to edit. Some of them I've over saturated, but honestly I'm still learning how to use the software.

 

Just wait until you see the Enchantment photo once I return in Nassau!

I am heading back in Nov on enchantment for my 3rd sailing this year on her. I love the ship, the crew and the itinerary.....

 

Looking forward to seeing more of your pics and review. Makes me feel like I am right there and can picture myself doing exactly what you are describing!

I absolutely LOVE the crew on the Enchantment! Some of my favorites are about to leave on holiday, but are returning in January. I'll likely jump on her again soon last minute pretty soon. There is just something neat about booking a cruise on Wednesday for a weekend trip to the Bahamas!

Okay so some of you might be wondering how 11 people spent the whole day on the property.

 

They had booked a hotel for the day (casino rate $99), which gives you 4 full-access passes, well what did we do? We had 4 go in, 1 come out with passes, then 4 back in. I'm pretty sure the guy knew what we were doing, but I think they could care less. Believe me that made up for it on our pool tab at $11-$15 per drink! :mad:

 

We were stalling while others went into pool area...

Sorry to keep everyone waiting, the awful thing called work got in the way, I'd quit today but then I couldn't pay royal to cruise! :mad:

 

So after we all successfully got past the guard, we walked onto the pool deck which I might add is quite a pool! If you are there all day, I'd consider going back for sure.

 

We kept walking and I turned around to see this massive hotel up close! I think I could stay here for a week? Over a cruise I don't know. Has anyone every stayed at the hotel for a few days? What was it like?

Okay after walking around the pool deck for a a bit we decided to head to the under water aquarium, I was mostly looking forward to this, because I've always seen others pictures. You could spend 2-3 hours doing this alone, if you have young children or 29 year old ones like me!
