ccruisequeen Posted October 26, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2014 My steward was lazy. I was hoping for a dog, all I got were these Sent from my iPod
lady_cruiser Posted October 26, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Looks like your cabin attendant was absent the day the taught them how to fold towels.

092306 Posted October 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Those are pretty bad. Our steward last week said she wasn't good at making them, but her assistant was so she had him make the complicated ones. Sounds like your steward needed to ask for some help. ferfoodle Posted October 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Oh my! Those are pathetic. Time for towel animal refresher course for that steward.
Sauer-kraut Posted October 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Well I think some of those were recognizable.... last week we had one that I thought was a seal or the Loch Ness Monster, and my cabin mate said it was a swan.....
kelkel2 Posted October 27, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Ok, so I have to appreciate how difficult this really is to do. I bought the book and my steward personally taught me a few. Not as easy as you may think. BUT I'm not paid to do it as part of my job...Someone needs to go back to class. Because in one day of trying to make them I could do better than most of those. Jeesh! SteelerCruiser Posted October 27, 2014 #11 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Darn I believe I could toss a wet towel in the corner and do better than that. I love the comment that says it looks like a dustbuster:D
seeing this world Posted October 27, 2014 #12 Share Posted October 27, 2014 LOL i had a cabin steward who just moved the head from one cabin to the next, kept the same body all week. One night he forgot our head, me who had a few drinks in caught him in the hall and said " someone decapitated our towel animal but we don't have its head, someone left with it when they did the deed"He looked mordfid. tobancruiser Posted October 27, 2014 #16 Share Posted October 27, 2014 I wonder if your cabin steward needs a copy of the book that Carnival sells on "how to make towel animals"....

pe4all Posted October 27, 2014 #19 Share Posted October 27, 2014 LOL! I think they would have looked much better if he had just put the eyes on them. Maybe he ran out of the black dots!

marshhawk Posted October 27, 2014 #21 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Pathetic! On our last Fasciantion cruise, we had much better towel animals, but they were all blind. None had eyes. I hope this is not going to be a universal problem, they have that great towel animal show, these would never have been on stage.:(
Smart Arsenal Fan Posted October 27, 2014 #22 Share Posted October 27, 2014 LOL! I think they would have looked much better if he had just put the eyes on them. Maybe he ran out of the black dots! This is why, in lieu of a John Deere key chain, I always give as a thank you gift, one of our #10 deluxe "Bag O' Eyes" from my company, ACME Googly Eye Inc. We're talking over 3 pounds worth of assorted sizes! :D

kelkel2 Posted October 27, 2014 #25 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Ours were doomed to be blind also but our room steward had showed us how he had taken an old Fun Times and cut it into circles "to make sure the kids had eyes on their towels" such a sweet guy who truly loved his job!!
