Paradise point

Breakaway docks in Sapphire Marina (Sapphire Beach on the East End). Paradise Point is close to where the ship docks. So, they are some distance away from one another.

Sapphire Beach is on the other side of the island and to my understanding there are no commercial ship docks there at all. The other thing you said is Paradise pt is close to where the ships docks and than you said the docks are some distance away from each other. Totally confusing!

Are scheduled to dock at Havensight (WICO) and the aerial tram to PP is a 10 - 15 min walk across the street or a short taxi to the top. Great spot to relax after an excursion or shopping before returning to the ship. You can usually buy round trip tram tickets cheaper at your excursions desk.

Some ships dock at Crown Bay which is to the west of Charlotte Amalie and a taxi to the tram is needed.

The Breakaway 2pina was referring to is a private boat that makes daily runs to the BVI.

LOL heeb!! Your ship, the Norwegian Breakaway, docks at Havensight/West Indian Company dock. It is right across the street from the Paradise Point tram. There is a popular day charter boat, also and inconveniently called Breakaway, which leaves from a small marina at Sapphire, which is across the island from Havensight, Paradise Point and all things heeb!! Clear as mud??:D

How can you tell where your ship will dock? We'll be on Celebrity Summit on April 24.

On a related note, when is the best time of day to visit Paradise Point, morning or afternoon? Less crowded? Better lighting for photography? We'll be at the end of a port intensive cruise and probably won't want to do much but take the sky ride and have a Bushwacker. :)
