Taxi Rates & Sea Grape vs Public Beach

Hello everyone!

 

How much do the taxi fares run in Grand Cayman?

 

Looking for a nice beach day with facilities & lounge chairs available. I'm debating between Sea Grape and Public Beach.

 

Any feedback is greatly appreciated :)

Hop on the bus to Seagrape...$2.50 pp and so easy, convenient...and they run all the time!!

Calico Jack's is a beach bar at SeaGrape Beach which is a section of 7 Mile Beach which is just 5 miles long not 7. :D

Calico Jacks is immediately adjacent to the Seven Mile Beach Public Beach. It is slightly closer to Public Beach than SeaGrape.

Okay, that clears it up. Is there chair/umbrella rental on either of these beaches?

Both have beach rentals. Public Beach is quiet and more for families. Jack's has a beach bar and sometimes with live music and can draw a crowd. Have fun !! :)
