If you go to marine traffic dot com, and search the Vista, you'll see this map. That's where the map originated from, then was shared by Carnival, on Facebook

Simplistically, yep. They rotate 360 degrees and will push the ship away from the wall.

Would be a shame to put a dent in a shiny new ship!

She's taking to come along nicely. The worker railings all along the bow have now been replaced with the permanent railings and they are finishing up the balcony glass on the forward port side. They say she will be ready for May 1st. Can't wait! Seven weeks and counting!

Good find, hope you don't mind if I post bigger images...

Still looks like she has such a long way to go in two months...

1.5 months

It does look like a lot more than just the "finishing" touches. I'm guessing lot of testing of systems and touch ups being done the first month of sailing.

Oh yeah that's right 1.5 months, I have 2 months on my mind because that's when I'm on her.

The fact the big TV and pool are now in shows that the exterior is done. If you think about it, with 100's of workers, they can definitely get the interior done as it's all prefabricated, they just need to screw it into place! Nothing is really built on the ship, it's all done in warehouse and then the crane drops it into place!
