Watching the NA sail away sounds like they are having the battle of the horns. At least the NA horn sounds a lot better then the Eurodams.

I was out in the kitchen but I could still hear the Love Boat. Then I lost my sound. It just came back now. Don't know why, must have dropped my anchor!:eek::D

I think it is proper marine etiquette for one ship, like Nieuw Amsterdam, starting their voyage and passing another docked vessel, like Celebrity Shilouette, to give a departure salute, followed by the other ship's departure salute, and then the last one "toot" from each.

 

I have seen this repeatedly in the past. But, not every time. Depends on the Master, I wonder?

It must be especially good for families and young adults with all the "bells and whistles" for entertainment. I don't think I was ever young enough for a flow rider or rock climbing wall!:D
