I watched several NHL playoff games on both the Century (May 2014) and Millennium (June 2013). The games were being shown in the Casino Bar on Millennium and attracted a fun crowd. I can't recall where they were shown on Century.

I wouldn't hold my breath. Celebrity still tends to stick to soccer, tennis, and rugby for most of their sports TV, even out of US based ports:(. We have seen some NFL, but generally not our home teams unfortunately. There was some basketball on (this was pre-March Madness), but their choices were limited. They are restricted by what they get on their satellite feed. I also think sometimes it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease, so it doesn't hurt to contact the Media Officer onboard and make requests. I would love to see them add hockey but don't have high hopes.

ps

I think there were more typos - should have said Go Hawks!!:)

Playoffs?

What, prey tell, is this playoffs thing you speak of?

Regards,

Maple Leafs' Fan

It's a post season tournament which the winner of gets Lord Stanley's Cup and each member of the winning team gets to have his name engraved on it. The Maple Leafs last won it when there were only six teams in the league during the 1966-67 season. With a player who decided to become the Dunkin Donuts of the Great White North after retiring named Tim Horton. The following year, the league expanded to 12 teams, and has incrementally grown to the 30 that are in the league today. 16 out of 30 make the playoffs, which is a lower percentage than the 4 out of 6 to make it the last time the Maple Leafs hoisted the chalice.

Tongue firmly planted in cheek while being typed by a below the border hockey fan, whose team is 0 for 6 the last six times they have been in the finals.:(
