Extra Kim Posted April 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2015 We are planing on taking a short (3 nights) cruise from Miami to Bahamas before our 11 nights Celebrity cruise next year. We have found one from Miami with Royal Caribbean that would work for us. What's the "normal" price for that kind of cruise in a outside/window cabin in late january? Are there big price differences our should we just book now and be done with it?
CruiserBruce Posted April 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2015 There is no "normal" price. Last year's prices have nothing to do with this years prices. The price you see is what it is. A little research may get a small amount of variance, depending on what the travel agent or cruise line is willing to discount. You just have to do the research. thinfool Posted April 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2015 I have no price opinion either and I hope you have a nice cruise.....but.... my thoughts on the Bahamas in January are Windy Rainy Cloudy Not warm Need jackets or more. Been there at least twice, conditions the same both times.
nickw Posted April 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Cruise prices vary greatly depending on home port, destination ports, return port, length, days of week, ship, cruise line, etc. It also depends when you plan on booked. Just look at the prices available in January... prices may go up or down, but it's hard to predict. My guess without even looking at current prices would be around $229-279 per person for double occupancy, ocean view, January, MIA/FLL, 3-day Fri-Mon. I think an inside would be around $179. Extra Kim Posted April 16, 2015 Author #5 Share Posted April 16, 2015 I know that the prices are different, but since this is a cruise that's the same year after year and it's short cruise I was guessing that the price would be similar each year depening on when you book.
