Sure...many folks will do that! Just pack socks, pjs etc into the sand bucket, and put it in your regular suitcase.... You don't need BIG beach toys! Kids can "make do" with a cup and a stick! If you want to bring a cheap, blow up float....just don't blow it up! Wait till you get to the beach!

They sell buckets of beer on the ship...Just keep the bucket. If you don't drink, ask someone you see with a bucket of beer if you can have the bucket. Be creative. think what other things you can substitute for the stuff you don't want to pack. EM

You are sure to pass any number of inexpensive souvenir shops in every island. You can purchase a few toys if you don't find 'odds and ends' that kids would love to play with on the beach. The bucket from bucket of beer is a great idea. Put a small sand shovel in your suitcase, take some paper cups for the kids to fill with sands and use as a mold. An inexpensive blow up ring they can float near the shore in the water. Leave it behind when you are done with it. Another child can play with it.

They do not sell beach toys at Magen's Bay - just drinks and snacks, and quiet watercraft rentals (no motorized sports). As stated, you can pack or carry on. My advice would be to look carefully at your items and perhaps reassess... if they are too big to pack, they could stay at home this trip. The toys, not the kids. :D

Of course.

My daughter wore her Puddle Jumper (Coast Guard approved life vest) right onto the ship on our last cruise. It's big to pack and we use the pools pretty much first thing, so she wanted to be ready. :D My son had his hanging from his carry on bag.

We also bring a bucket, shovel, and water ring (all super easy to pack) in our luggage for beach days. On our next cruise we will probably pack an inflatable raft floaty thing.

They do sell these things in ports, but they take up no space in a suitcase.
