Shore excursions

We will be on Celebrity Equinox cruising the Mediterranean in September. Can anyone give us advise on what shore excursions to try and what company to use?

You also might want to join your roll-call -- that's where you can meet folks who will be cruising with you. Especially on European itineraries, there is often a lot of tour-related activity on the r/c threads. :cool:

Also browse thru other roll calls with the similar itinerary. You can often get good ideas on excursions, companies, etc.

As mentioned roll calls are great to see what others are doing and to even share tours and the ports of call on Cruise Critic has a wealth of information.

Get a copy of Rick Steves' Mediterranean Cruise Ports and see what there is to do/see in your ports. Many can be done without an organized tour. On his website, he has free audio tour downloads (ipod/mp3) for Florence and Rome, with maps to go with. EM
