Editor Colleen Posted August 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted August 6, 2015 Good evening! I'm so excited to let everyone know that we've shot thousands of photos of HAL's Noordam. Please check out the albums here http://gallery.cruisecritic.com/ships/noordam-362/ Our photographer was on an Alaskan sailing, so you can check out some photos of Alaska's ports as well. I particularly love our cabin photos, which include 360-degree panoramics. This is the second HAL ship we've shot. Our first was Eurodam, which you can see here: http://gallery.cruisecritic.com/ships/eurodam-405/ I hope you have fun exploring these. We're going to continue to add photo galleries for Holland America and other cruise lines throughout the year. Enjoy! Colleen

HAL has a LOT more ships and there are pictures are out there, why not invite non commercialized websites that have them to share or at least share their links? I doubt your "photographer" will get to all the ships.
cruiseJMO Posted August 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2015 I love how these have been organized. Hopefully, the photographer will get to other ships soon.
sppunk Posted August 6, 2015 #4 Share Posted August 6, 2015 If you google HAL cabin photos you can also find thousands more for every ship.

We are sailing on her in March next year, so it's great fun looking at these - and, oh, those shops look to have some tempting goodies. Loved the Volendam and the Ryndam, and I think it may be a love affair with the Noordam also.
donaldsc Posted August 7, 2015 #9 Share Posted August 7, 2015 10 photos of the ping pong table. 36 photos of the conference center. 7 photos of the future cruse desk. A picture of the hair drier in the cabin. Is that a bit much? DON

Krazy Kruizers Posted August 7, 2015 #11 Share Posted August 7, 2015 I like the set up of the pictures into the various categories. But that sure is a lot of work.
Lizzie68 Posted August 7, 2015 #12 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Why just the Noordam? Is this just a taste of things to come and there will be photos of all the ships?
IRL_Joanie Posted August 7, 2015 #13 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Awesome photos of both the Eurodam and Noordam!! If I counted correctly, that leaves 11 or is it 12 to go, with 2 of the smaller ships being sold/transferred to another line, and Konigsdam coming into service:) Slow to get them all, but understandable. Really appreciate the efforts of CC for doing this. I KNOW how hard it is/was/will be, but know it is worth it!! Only ONE Suggestion Editor Colleen and that is PLEASE place a Sticky with the links in it so others, newbies and old timers alike, can find them. InTheWASide Posted August 7, 2015 #14 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Haven't seen Noordam since 2007 and she looks pretty good. Disappointing that as many areas were updated the Vista Lounge and MDR appear untouched. Also, two carpeting curiosities. 1) The atrium deck 1 carpeting to me looks exceptionally juvenile. I get the tie-ins with the compass rose and the atrium sculpture but it looks like a better match for somewhere up in Club HAL 2) The modern design on the carpets in the Queen's Lounge/Culinary Arts Center seems more appropriate for Celebrity's since changed Molecular Bar or Carnival's Alchemy Bar... in fact it looks VERY much like what Carnival uses for the Alchemy Bar (photo below). I don't dislike the carpeting, but it doesn't suit a space with cooking and blues music.
Steirisch Posted August 7, 2015 #15 Share Posted August 7, 2015 Love all the detailed photos. Gives me a great taste of the ships that I haven't been on yet. Thanks, Colleen.
