Princess Bathrobes

Recommended Posts

Hi all, we are doing a cruise on the Golden Princess in

January next year and was wondering about the bathrobes.

Are they supplied to all cabins?

Do you pay for them?

If so, what price?

We will be in a mini suite if that makes any difference.

Thank you. :)

never had any robes in the cabin but you could ask your steward for one if you like

Thanks, have tried looking but bathrobes are not mentioned anywhere and

we would like to know as if they are supplied it will be one less thing to pack.

GUT2407 how long ago where you on a Princess ship that supplied them? Trying to work out if this is no longer available as I'm sure years ago I read

that they were.

Depending on your Stateroom grade some robes are supplied , otherwise as stated above you can purchase them.I did the Ultimate Ships Tour and one of the heavy grade luxury robes was included as a gift...( a gift you had paid for:D)

Your cruise personalizer should have a designation for robes. If not, just ask your steward. There is no charge. Just leave it in your cabin at the end of your voyage. I have always had a robe provided in balcony cabin.

I've never thought of taking bathrobes on a cruise.

Most of the time you don't need one, unless you have a balcony and want to go out on it first thing in the morning before dressing. That's when a robe is useful.

I gave up expecting to get robes to fit me decades ago. Even when I was relatively slim most hotel robes gaped in all the wrong places. They are not designed for the female shape. I now have a beautiful fine cotton lawn robe, that I bought online from a UK company, that I use for travel. It's so light it packs down very small and weighs very little.
