247readr Posted September 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Hi all, I sail on the CB the week before Thanksgiving and was wondering (hoping) if anyone knows if there will be holiday decorations during my cruise?! Thanks!
satxdiver Posted September 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2015 They usually seem to wait until after Thanksgiving to put up the decorations.
paul929207 Posted September 15, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 15, 2015 You will probably be a little early. We have sailed a couple of time over the US Thanksgiving and they started decorating at the end of our cruises.

Eppe4 Posted September 15, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2015 Hi all, I sail on the CB the week before Thanksgiving and was wondering (hoping) if anyone knows if there will be holiday decorations during my cruise?! Thanks! We're on the CB for Thanksgiving, there has always been a Thanksgiving Display table in the atrium. Lots of Pumpkins, carvings and various fall decorations. They also do the same at Halloween. We're staying on for the 11/29 cruise and expect to see the Christmas Decorations going up during that week. A.stew12305 Posted September 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted September 15, 2015 How long do they leave Christmas decorations up? We are taking our 6 year old nephew on a cruise leaving Jan 4th, it would be neat to see the ship all decked out.

Everything will be gone by the 4th of Jan. if things are the same as last time we sailed New Year's in 2013. After the New Year's Celebrations things are removed rather quickly. Rare geoherb Posted September 15, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 15, 2015 We were on a New Year's cruise this past year. They took down the big Christmas display at the end of our short cruise on December 29. Our New Year's cruise started December 30, and they still had a lot of the Christmas trees up at the beginning. They started taking them down toward the end of the New Year's cruise.
