Taxi or walk - visit 7 mile beach and Eden Rock Snorkeling

Should we plan on walking from ship to Eden Rock and then to 7 mile beach? OR easier to take bus/cabs? If bus/cabs, where and how do we get them?

Also, cost if known please.

You can walk from the tender dock to Eden Rock. You need to take a taxi or bus to Seven Mile Beach. Taxis are near the tender dock. Bus on the same road. Bus is actually minibus. Taxi fare is about $5 per person. Most go to Royal Palm or Sea Grape on Seven Mile beach. Have not done the bus in ten year so don't know the fare and since taxis are cheap I take those. Seagrape has no cover charge. Royal Palm might.

The bus is the cheaper and easier thing. $2.50 pp. They are about a block behind the tender dock.....although our bus picked us up right at the dock! I don't know how far Eden Rock is....but the bus to and from 7 Mile beach is the way to go. After the beach, simply walk up to the road, and the next bus will stop for you! So easy! They are actually larger than vans....not a "city" bus, but bigger than a van!

It has been a few years since we were last there. Caught a bus at the head of a line of buses in front of the Port Authority. Cost varied by how far up one wished to go on Seven Mile beach. If memory serves prices were between $2 and $6.

It's an extremely easy walk to Eden Rock.

Take a taxi to 7 Mile Beach.
