Buying a Coffee Card for another PAX

A friend of mine is doing a B2B cruise with two friends of his. We will be on the second leg of the cruise with them. I would like to send our friend a coffee card so he can use it on both cruises. We did not book the cruise at the same time. And did not use the same TA. Of course I have his name, cabin number and date of birth. I don't want to ask for his booking number because he then will know that I am planning to get him something. I think Princess would be able find his booking, his date of birth will give him away. I really don't think any one else on board will have his year of birth ( will be 97 in Jan)and name/title (priest).

Do you think that I have enough info with out the booking number?

Call Princess and ask them.

I only had that info for a family member for her honeymoon cruise and I called and was able to add things to their booking as gifts.

Just call Princess, give the passenger's name, ship & sailing date and gift a coffee card. No problem at all. You don't any more information than that.

You might want to let your friend know to expect "something". Sometimes the gift doesn't get delivered. He won't know he is missing something, if he doesn't expect it.

Do tell him before he leaves that you are having a Coffee Card sent to his cabin as a Bon Voyage gift and to ask about it if he doesn't get it. ;)

Thank you all for your help.. I will call Princess and buy it for him. I will tell him the week before the cruise that the card/voucher should be in his cabin.
