Labadee - RCCL food available on the ship?

Having read that the "standard" buffet leaves a lot to be desired, is there food available on the ship during the beach day?

Yes depending what time of day, you can find food in windjammer, promenade, MDR, wipeout cafe, boardwalk, central park.....room service.

While in Labadee, the MDR will not be open on the ship for lunch. You will be in the WJ or perhaps one of the other, smaller food shops....depends on the ship!! Not all ships have a promenade, or boardwalk or central park!!!

We have been to Labadee 7 times . On all but one cruise we ate at the buffet on the island .

 

On our last time there we ate on the ship and much to our surprise it was very crowded.

That's correct that's why you have to visit the open venues listed per different ships when you sail.
