Pre Pay Water Taxi?

Searched for any info but couldn't find.

Would it be wise to pre-pay for water taxi tickets? We will arrive in FLL on Dec 11th for cruise on the 12th. Is there any advantage to purchasing online?

No reason to buy tickets ahead of time. Plans change, weather varies etc. Wait till you get there.

Agree. But check the water taxi website and see if you can buy in advance, and what their refund policy might be.

Also check in your hotel as some hotels sell the tickets on premise. That is if you wait til you arrive to buy your tickets

I was able to get tix through sunny.org for $20 which is $6 off or $12 savings for 2 of us by booking ahead.

It's been 2 years, but $20 was the walk up price...paid when we got on board. Has the price gone up that much?

Water Taxi site shows $25 for adults, $20 for Seniors (all day pass) and $15 for the Moonlight Madness price which is for after 5pm. We will be needing the $15 tickets. No discounts at this time on sunny.org. Will just wait til we get there.

Couple years ago our hotel gave us two for one coupon so we saved big time. It was the Bahia Mar that is now a Marriott I think.

Bahia Mar is now a Doubletree - not that that is germane to the question :D. You are much likelier to find free/discount coupons during the off season (May - October) than during the high season but it is always worth checking on-line too (groupon, living social, etc).
