akeasley Posted November 17, 2015 #78 Share Posted November 17, 2015 I'm going on the Golden Princess and was wondering if I'll get the little book from them?? And do you get it on the ship I attended a first time cruisers seminar a few cruises ago that was hosted by the captains circle host. The passports were on a table by the front door. Up until then, I'd never seen the actual passport but fortunately had been collecting the stickers from the beginning.
Mackenzie1 Posted November 17, 2015 #79 Share Posted November 17, 2015 Princess' unique itineraries, the International Cafe, and Princess' user friendly website that lays out all of the available cabins in an easily readable format.
ms.sunburn Posted November 17, 2015 #80 Share Posted November 17, 2015 Loved that they delivered our luggage into our cabin instead of leaving it in the hallway Twice as many hangers as we needed (you said small!!) Popcorn with the MUTS. Ice bucket in the fridge instead of melting on the counter. Ability to bring a bottle of wine each in carry on.
ms.sunburn Posted November 17, 2015 #81 Share Posted November 17, 2015 For $39 you can board a ship while it is in port. For that $39 you get - Onboard first; before Suite/Elite - Guided tour of the ship (if you want) - Lunch in MDR with wine included - Boarding photo - Can roam the ship for 3 - 4 hours Any booking you make up to 90 days after your BVE you get the $39 back as a credit. It's a nice way to see a ship and have lunch. I've done it a few times while dropping family off and doing it again in 2 weeks. Did not know this. Great idea! caribill Posted November 18, 2015 #83 Share Posted November 18, 2015 Sounds greatI'm going on my own so that might be something I'll do Where do you book that Not sure what you mean by "I'm going on my own." If you mean you are doing the BVE on your own, that is fine. Just contact Princess to book the BVE if it is available for that cruise.

It is not a way to get on the ship early if you are taking the cruise, unless you are bringing non cruisers with you.
