Hi ckrobyn any issues getting your Prepaid OBC?

Thanks

Not one bit!

Set up a cash account, and on day 2 took out all my OBC and threw a credit card down on the sea pass. Easy Peasy!

Love reading your review and looking a at the pics. A question about Labadee: can you rent beach umbrellas for shade to go with the loungers?

Thanks! I'm having fun reporting LIVE!

There are no umbrellas for rent on Labadee as far as I know....

Looking forward to watching your posts!!! Tell me how early I can contact the Dining Coordinator prior to cruising. Seems I'm always disappointed in my table location. Thanks and have a wonderful time.

I was told by the dining coordinator for our cruise on Freedom that if you have my time dining they cannot assign a table, so hope you don't do my time.

Table numbers can and do change cruise to cruise. The configuration today may not be what it is for your cruise.

Ckrobyn, I am enjoying your lives posts. I was on Independence in September and my sister and BIL on on with you. Actually my sister was in the slot pull. I think she said she ended up third. Did you happen to get any other photos of the slot pull participants? My sister is Alice Bond. If you have any photos of her it would be great if I could show them to our parents. They are older and can't travel. They love seeing photos from our travels. I thought it would be interesting to show them some "live" photos of my sister while she is on a ship.

Yes, I met your sister Alice! I'm so sorry, I don't have any pictures other than the one slot pull I already posted. If I do see Alice around the ship, I'll snap a pic for sure! Thanks for following along [emoji3]

Hi ckrobyn, sorry for the stupid:confused: question. How do you go about getting your OBC? On our next cruise, we have $350 OBC. I would love to get some of it in cash for spending money. Thanks for taking me along on your cruise;). I am really enjoying it. Have a great cruise!!!!

Your OBC will show up on your seapass account by day 2. You have 2 options, you can take it out at the casino, although there is a daily limit of $300, and unless you have a cash account you will pay a 5% fee. Otherwise, you can take it out at guest relations. Now having said that, the OBC must be refundable, not the credit you get from RC as a booking bonus, that OBC is non-refundable.

Hope this helps?

Hi , I'm enjoying reading along . Am I correct in thinking refundable OBC is obtained from an affiliated credit card , shares in RCI and a gift from travel agent ? Thank you for your help . Enjoy your time with your friends .

Okay, so now for my review on Giovanni's Table.

I have read so many positive reviews prior to making a decision to try it, so my expectations were pretty high.

The service was excellent, the appetizers were very good as was the pasta. The mains were another story. Unfortunately I did not enjoy my filet, it was very much over done. My table mates ordered the prosciutto wrapped chicken and it was really dry. They did offer to make us something else, but we declined as it was already 9:30. I would be willing to try it again, but I would order something else. In any case, no big deal....I am definitely not starving! [emoji6]

I didn't take pictures of the food for obvious reasons lol.

The Headliner Show was fantastic! Now I am back in the theatre waiting for Love and Marriage to begin. It's been a great day. Looking forward to Falmouth tomorrow. The weather forecast is for sunny skies and 85, no complaints here! [emoji41]

I am sorry to hear that the mains were not up to par. I had the chicken wrapped in prosciutto once on Oasis and it too was dry, so I haven't ordered it since. I wish you and your friends had a better main course experience.

I'll be on Indy for the 4 night Thanksgiving cruise to / from Cozumel. It looks like the same cruise took place last week. Anyone on board happen to have any pics of the cruise compass so I can see some of the specific activities?

Surprise! I am staying onboard for the next cruise too! Happy to post the activity pages for you [emoji3]

Thanks, but I never get in a tizzy about food. I am sure I'll try it again somewhere down the line! Many people have raved about it, so mine must have been one of those misses that happens from time to time.

Good morning from the Indy!

I just woke up and looked out my promenade cabin window and see that it is very sunny outside!!! Are you wondering how that's even possible? I am directly across from the Champagne Bar, one deck up, so when I look down at it from this angle, I can see out the window, and see the water too [emoji106] from my bed too!!! I like sailing this time of year, the sunrise is really early.

Today is Falmouth, Jamaica. We don't have any real plans as this is a port we have been to many times. I think we will probably hang out by the empty pool all morning and then go ashore in the afternoon. I really like the port area in Falmouth, there are a lot of little shops, as well as a small artisans marketplace. I know that something sneaky is going to happen today as well........[emoji6] One of the girls we are cruising with is leaving on Saturday, so we are giving her the Sangsters Cream Rum we plan to buy so she can give it back to us before she disembarks! I know, I know, living dangerously, right?? lol [emoji41]

A few tidbits: the Internet connection has been amazing so far (hope this doesn't jinx it!) the crew are really friendly and look engaged and happy to be here. The ship is really clean and well cared for.

Okay, now it's coffee time. I already mentioned that Starbucks is out and Illy is in. I am going to enjoy a most delicious latte, probably one of the best I've had on any ship.

More later from beautiful and oh so sunny Jamaica!

Hello from Toronto! Really enjoying your review, getting me excited for my upcoming cruise in January. We are supposed to get snow this weekend (just some flurries... but still!) so soak up as much of that sun as possible

The view from my bed. I like that there are no cabins diagonal from me, so when I am propped up reading or checking in here, the curtains can be open.e662bd240001199bd918557f129f67eb.jpg
