Port or Starboard on a Glacier Bay Cruise

I have always found the commentary to match up with the port side. They'll mention information about the glaciers when passing- all are first viewed on the port side.

So if you ONLY are going to stay in your balcony, the commentary is a lot less, leaving.

However- the ship "turn" business with the "everybody gets a view", in my opinion could be lacking for someone like me, as I won't settle for 50% of the views. :) I move side to side, taking full advantage of something that is completely unpredictable in terms of calving and wildlife.

There are all kinds of choices, and something for everyone.
