pajazz28 Posted January 9, 2016 #427 Share Posted January 9, 2016 I know you are probably hating life right now as today you are leaving the ship. I know for me I hate Day 8. I am using the compass you provide to plan my cruise activities for our up coming cruise on 2/27/15 on the Oasis. Do you have Day 4 and Day 6 we can post. It would be a great help, thanks. Have a safe trip home.

Rare whitshel Posted January 9, 2016 Author #432 Share Posted January 9, 2016 Ok, sitting at the airport now. I have some time to post a few pics. Compasses for day 4 and 6! I think that's them Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Rare whitshel Posted January 10, 2016 Author #433 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Now that I have those posted I want to thank everyone who commented on this post and enjoyed it. Also to all of you wishing us a safe travel home, again thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We absolutely had a blast, it took us 6 years to make it an Oasis class ship and it definitely was worth the wait. This is the wow factor ship. Service was awesome from anyone we encountered, my wife and I were saying we don't think we've ever replied "hi" so many times in one week. Day 8 is always tough, but we do have a cruise booked for 17 on the Summit and we did book a Harmony cruise for the same week but will move that cruise once the bookings open up. Love only paying $100 deposit for a room that I can extend out a few years. I will keep posting some pics of our trip and our voyage home, remember it's flying to dfw then driving 2 days back to San diego. So more to come, but really I just wanted to thank you all for following along on our awesome vacation. My daughters are just amazed that this has had 34k views and more to come. I'm glad others on the ship are able to help out with questions as well. If you have a voyage coming up on Oasis I envy you! KBD1516 Posted January 10, 2016 #434 Share Posted January 10, 2016 When you were docked in Cozumel, could you just walk to town? How far was it? I know there are several piers in C. But I don't know where O docks. Thank you for your review. I have really enjoyed it and will be in your cabin in a couple of weeks. Happy new year! We thought about walking but I think it would be too far. Plus it's hot, so I wouldn't advise it. For a taxi of four we were told it should run $8. We had 8 of us and found a van "taxi" and he charged us $3 apiece. We were ok with that since we could all travel together. Rccl docks at the International pier. Which by the way is under a major expansion in the shopping area. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Rare whitshel Posted January 10, 2016 Author #436 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Where did you eat in Cozumel? The skirt steak plate looked excellent!! We think it was called Palmeras , it was down from Ron Jon about 4 or 5 blocks. Believe me you know it because the waiters run out to the sidewalk to get you like you want a table. The skirt steak was awesome as well as the shrimp fajitas. You do have to ask for habanero salsa tho if you want some spice, it was spicy but very good. It is also one of the restaurants that is recommended in the shopping guide Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
Rare whitshel Posted January 10, 2016 Author #437 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I will take you up on your offer for more info. I saw you posted the vintages menu. However, that one did not have the prices posted on it. Anyway, you could get me one with the prices? Thank you in advance :) Gambee, I was able to get the menu but I still don't see any prices. So maybe its a surprise when you get your bill [emoji54] Love your reviews btw! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

I'm pretty sure you can. The shore excursion desk as open before we got to Falmouth. I would try and book it before hand tho, just so you can be on the 1st shuttle and get your choice of spot in the beach Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Rare whitshel Posted January 10, 2016 Author #444 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I thought this was cool, this is the corridor at the front of the ship for the deck 5 jogging track and right in the middle is an entrance to the gym. Rare whitshel Posted January 10, 2016 Author #445 Share Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) I have to say I really like central park. It's nice to have an area like this to walk through when you are going from one end of the ship to the other. Does anyone know what this is used for? Area above Boleros. It was always empty. When you book the excursion for Red Stripe Beach, do you book a time for the shuttle there? And the shuttle back is at your leisure?
Rare whitshel Posted January 10, 2016 Author #447 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Our day today consisted of renting a car and just driving around south Florida. Our friends have never been so we drove down the a1a until we could cut over the coast. Then we took a lil drive out to the everglades. Went on an airboat tour, we did this a couple years ago as well but thought our friends would enjoy it too. Ocean Boy Posted January 10, 2016 #448 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I never even noticed that space above Bolero's before. I will try to check it out when I get aboard.
Needzavacation Posted January 10, 2016 #449 Share Posted January 10, 2016 I never even noticed that space above Bolero's before. I will try to check it out when I get aboard. That used to be part of the Diamond Lounge, before they replaced it with cabins. It was a sort of "outdoor" balcony. The interior space was replaced with additional staterooms during the recent refurbishment.
Clarea Posted January 10, 2016 #450 Share Posted January 10, 2016 Does anyone know what this is used for? Area above Boleros. It was always empty. That is all that remains of the old Diamond Club. The inner area of the old DL has been converted to staterooms. Guess they haven't figured out what to do with the balcony part.
