we are cruising jan 10 on breeze but our flight gets in at 6am and we have to go straight to the port as we have several bags. Can they be dropped off early anywhere and is there a breakfast place , convenience store or starbucks nearby anyone knows of. Thank you in advance

We were on the Breeze over Thanksgiving and dropped our bags off before returning our rental car. We had a hard time finding the right spot for drop off. Go past the ship and around the corner to the right and you will see the porters taking your bags. It was very hectic at 10am because of the 4000 folks trying to get off of the ship. I would recommend that you take your time and eat breakfast at the airport and don't get to the port before 10:30 or even 11. There are simply too many people trying to disembark and get home.

If you're arriving in Terminal D head for the Icebox Café. Also in Terminal D are Au Bon Pain (And in Terminal F), Coffee Beanery and Starbucks (Terminal E too). And supposedly Terminal D's Jose Cuervo Tequileria offers Mexican breakfasts, but I thought it was only open for lunch and dinner, like the Cuban places. There's a Dunkin Donuts in Terminal E .

Or better yet, grab a van taxi for your luggage and offer the driver breakfast at S&S Diner on NE 2nd Ave. It's an institution. A block inland from Biscayne and just north of the 395 which turns into the tunnel to the port.

I would grab the airport flyer and head to South Beach to News Café and have breakfast al fresco. Take your time and cab back to the port around 10:30-11.

Great people watching across the street from the beach.

We did that after leaving the ship. Plenty of great places to eat early and no crowds. By the time we left in the afternoon it was crowded but it was not a bother.
