tbill Posted December 30, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2015 What do you get different between the ultimate and premium drink packages? Do either include Starbucks coffee? Are all frozen drinks included in the premium or do you need ultimate for that? Also, is there a limit as to how many drinks you can order at a time? Can you order one and then order another right away? We are trying to figure out if we can split a package. I don't drink enough alcohol for 2 to be worth it, however I do drink lots of diet coke and love coffee.

The included alcoholic drinks (including frozen) are the same in the Premium and Ultimate packages. The Ultimate package adds to the Premium package: bottled sparkling water, fresh squeezed OJ, and specialty coffees and teas. If you don't want alcoholic drinks, the Replenish package would be a good choice. Edited December 30, 2015 by clarea
tuscanyvegas Posted December 31, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Hi can anyone help please. We are looking to book a cruise that has a complimentary Select drinks package. As we drink cocktails/spirits would it be possible to upgrade the package and pay the difference in cost or would we have to pay the full amount for the ultimate/premium package? Any help would be most grateful. Thank you in advance.

mollyeilis Posted December 31, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Do either include Starbucks coffee? There is NO package that includes the espresso drinks from the Starbucks kiosks that are only on Allure and Oasis. But all ships (including Allure and Oasis in addition to the actual "Starbucks" locations) have unbranded espresso kiosks. Ultimate (and Replenish) include the espresso drinks (I prefer that phrase to "specialty coffee) from the unbranded kiosk onboard.

Havingfun2010 Posted January 2, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 2, 2016 What do you get different between the ultimate and premium drink packages? Do either include Starbucks coffee? On Oasis class ships, they have a Star Buck Kiosk, which is not included in any drink package. They are independent company. Are all frozen drinks included in the premium or do you need ultimate for that? Both packages include all alcohol drinks. That includes frozen drinks. Also, is there a limit as to how many drinks you can order at a time? No limits on number of drinks, but like any bar, they will cut you off, once you fall off the bar stool. Can you order one and then order another right away? No, you can't order two drinks at the same time, and with your next question, I can see why you are asking. We are trying to figure out if we can split a package. I don't drink enough alcohol for 2 to be worth it, however I do drink lots of diet coke and love coffee. Your question is to split a package. The answer is simply - That is STEALING. However, you can each select a package for each of you. For the soda and coffee person, you can get Royal Replenish, and the other person, can select one of the other packages.
skatie Posted January 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted January 2, 2016 What is considered a premium tea?! Is there a menu that shows these teas and their prices if bought separately? Thx

Ultimate (and Replenish) include the espresso drinks (I prefer that phrase to "specialty coffee) from the unbranded kiosk onboard. Well it must have changed then. On the Navigator in April, we got the replenish package, and were able to get all the Starbucks beverages that we wanted. I had Iced Cafe Latte's, and Iced Caramel Macchiato's and Josh had Cafe Mocha's multiple times a day. Both drinks have espresso, and were served from the "Proudly serving Starbucks" counter in the promenade, in the SB cups. If they were giving us a substitute espresso, we could not tell. Not to mention they were pulling all there espresso from the same package, even for the customers that were paying for their individual drinks. QuitMyDayJob Posted January 2, 2016 #13 Share Posted January 2, 2016 I think I understand the distinction but can someone confirm? There are actual Starbucks kiosks on some ships that are not included in any package, but there are other kiosks/venues that serve espresso drinks that are included (and are some/all of these non-Starbucks kiosks selling Starbucks espresso, just not from an actual Starbucks kiosk?) Clarea Posted January 2, 2016 #17 Share Posted January 2, 2016 Are sodas in the dining room included? Are those fountain or canned? All packages include soda in restaurants. All sodas from the packages are either fountain or from the Coke Freestyle machines. No canned sodas from the packages.
Rare brillohead Posted January 3, 2016 #18 Share Posted January 3, 2016 All packages include soda in restaurants. All sodas from the packages are either fountain or from the Coke Freestyle machines. No canned sodas from the packages. Exception to that is if you're at a bar that doesn't have "fountain/gun" soda available. Then they either pour it from a 2-liter bottle or from a can, depending on what they have available at that particular bar.
IDcruising Posted January 3, 2016 #19 Share Posted January 3, 2016 For all of you trying to decide if, you will get your $ worth buying the card. Maybe this will help. I bought the premium for $49 with tip $57 a day. First thing, if you don't buy a package the free water is not easily accessible at all times. Unless you go up to the bar. The Wind Jammer closes at 9pm. This is my opinion. The soda package on the Oasis of the Seas gives you about 150 different choices of drink. Even Disani and sparkling Disani(even flavored) Bottle of water is $2- I drank a minimum of 6 a day. I would order my $12 glass of wine and a bottle of water. Never did I have to wait any amount of time. They don't want people to get dehydrated. I would have a cocktail in the casino. 6 bottles of water $12 3 glasses of wine $36 1 cocktail $10 I broke even. Some days I drank a few more glasses of wine or cocktails. It does not take long to get to $50 for drinks.
vahey6266 Posted January 12, 2016 #20 Share Posted January 12, 2016 Hello! We are leaning toward purchasing the premium drink package for our upcoming FOS cruise. Could there be an advantage if we wait until we are onboard or would this be a disadvantage? Just thinking they may offer a special when boarding.... Thanks! Could there be an advantage if we wait until we are onboard or would this be a disadvantage? Just thinking they may offer a special when boarding.... Thanks! Prices are typically the same, pre-cruise or onboard. However, if you purchase pre-cruise, and there is a price increase after you purchase, you will not have to pay the increased price. Fishnbrews Posted January 16, 2016 #25 Share Posted January 16, 2016 We just purchased two premium packages for our upcoming cruise in two weeks. Bottled water is no longer in the description of avaiable drinks. Can any one confirm if bottled water is still part of this package.
