That's great to read. There have been a few CC members wondering when it will be started.

 

I almost wonder if there is a need for a "Count to Empress" sub-forum regarding this new ship, which has many questions about it. ;) Espically as the countdown to Quantum is still up and running almost 2 years after she sailed. :D

What fun to look at the very old roll calls. And many of them with less than 10 posts, guess they weren't too popular back then. Not a lot of familiar names on the ones I read.

I took the Empress in 1998. Had Al Gore invented the internet then?

 

I'll have to look to see if we have photos. I do recall we were 4 women to the OV cabin - two adults and two high school seniors! Doubt I can do that sort of accommodations today.
