On Silhouette now. Casino cash and dining deals

Good morning. We're on the Silouette and I wanted to answer two threads that have been on here recently.

We were able to get 30% discount on the Lawn Club (great food and fun experience) on our first night and I was able to take cash from my NON-REFUNDABLE OBC minus 5% at the casino.

 

Food and service is still excellent.

Discounts vary by restaurant bookings and therefore by cruise. We have found that on almost every non holiday cruise, even if they aren't openly offering discounts, they will still discount 20-30% if you ask nicely. Don't be afraid to ask each day because as the cruise goes on, their opportunity to make their revenue targets gets smaller. We have offered, and been taken up on, 50% off on some cruises.

Thank you for sharing this information. I too would like to know if Bistro on 5 has changed to a sushi restaurant and what they are charging. How is the entertainment in the theater? We will be on board in 3 weeks and are looking forward to the cruise. I hope you are enjoying yours.

Shows are at 7 and 9. Just arrived in Falmouth, Jamaica. Looks like,a beautiful day. We're on here next week again (B2B).

Thank you for the information! Especially on casino cash...

 

We will be on Eclipse in May and thanks to a special offer and a friendly "donation" by Celebrity we have so much OBC, that we will never be able to spend it.

 

We really have a luxury problem here ;-) Gratuities and beverage packages are included. We cruise in AQ and miss BLU when dining in specialty restaurants too often. There´s nothing else we would spend the money on... I rather get the cash at the casino and use it for extra tips and to book another cruise ;)

I would love to see the dailies from the Silhouette. We are sailing at the end of February. We are a group of 15 and newbies on Celebrity. We have one couple who have never cruised. So excited to see their reactions!! I would like to share any info I have learned to the rest of the crowd and dailies might help with that. Enjoy your cruise and the weather!!
