TinaLee Posted January 18, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Get there early for Crooners at 3! Both drinks must be the same - can't mix say one martini and one mudslide - lol - we learned that one the hard way :)
Rare Cruise Raider Posted January 18, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2016 Actually, we were told it was any drink that was under $10 when we were onboard. Maybe someone has had a different experience and can relay that to all of us.
j3000 Posted March 26, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) ....sooooo..... if I understand the HH BOGO...you can get two, say, $9 drinks, or whatever, for just $1? .... But the same two drinks would cost a total of $18 outside of Happy Hour?..... sounds almost TOO good...?? am I missing something? (or are those HH drinks maybe "missing something"? :) ) (Also - does the BOGO apply to glasses of wine as well?) fishywood Posted March 26, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) BOGO roughly translates to Buy One [at regular price] Get One [at the promotional price]. (In the past you could always assume it meant "Buy One, Get One free" but now the Get One clause can mean whatever the merchant considers) Thus at Princess' happy hours you get two identical drinks for the price of one plus $1. Any and every drink sold by the glass. Edited March 26, 2016 by fishywood

Coasty Posted March 26, 2016 #17 Share Posted March 26, 2016 On our up coming cruise we will have $585 of obc. Can the obc be used to purchase the Happy Hour drinks on the BOGO deal? And one more question, can the obc also be used to pay the tips?

fishywood Posted March 27, 2016 #20 Share Posted March 27, 2016 This also includes bottles of beer and the small bottles of sparkly. Cans of soda and water too I believe. I was using the term "sold by the glass" in the general meaning of any drink not sold by the package. It does not exclude bottled beer or water in this context.
