We had a couple hours to kill after our redeye flight. We went to http://myjoescafe.com/ The Taxi dropped us off with our luggage and they opened early when they saw us waiting and didn't blink an eye when we dragged in our luggage. In the same complex as Total Wine and Publix if you need to pick something up. Then just down the street to the port.

Open google maps and center it on the port. Right click. Click on the search nearby box. Enter restaurants or breakfast. You'll get a map of the results with links to menus, reviews, etc.

Also works for gas stations, hotels, etc.

You're not going to be able to find a breakfast place with a view of the port. You might want to do breakfast before you arrive in the FLL area. You can use the same tip to search for places along your route.

We're driving in from Alabama. We're spending the night at a Hampton about 3 or 4 hours from the port. We'll be travelling south well before they serve breakfast at the Hampton so we wanted one close to a breakfast place. I found a couple of Hampton's and used the tip to find the one that had a was next to a McDonald's.
