AOTS - St. Thomas

Hello, I know your going to say, go to the St. Thomas area forum, but I can't seem to find the answer I want. :(

We are on the AOTS the first part of April. One of the ports/islands will be St. Thomas. If you have been there within the past year and went to a beach (not for snorkelling) close by, which one was it? Did you see/do anything else that you would recommend there in St. Thomas?

Magen's Bay. It's a clean beach with beautiful, calm water. There's a snack shack on the beach with decent pizza and some (strong) rum drinks. Can't recommend it highly enough. If you go with the tour company I recommended in your previous thread (which has been relocated to the St. Thomas forum) you can easily ask Henry to take you there. Admission to the beach is $4.00 since it's a territorial park, but it's well worth it.

Cleara, thank you for those two websites that you gave me in regard to St. Thomas. I got some good information, and hopefully we can check out the Paradise Point Tramway. Do you know if that is within walking distance of Havensight, or has a beach close by?

We've walked to the cable car from Havensight.

We've walked to the cable car from Havensight. We also enjoy the walk into Charlotte Amalie.
