Piraeus to Athens Airport direct May17th

Does Azamara put on a bus/coach that goes straight to Athens airport? I seem to remember when we docked on the Journey in 2014 there was a service but only became available during the last few days of the cruise.

I'd be surprised if they didn't. Is nothing showing up in the Land Discoveries brochure?

In October we were on a shuttle that was arranged through our Choice Air booking.

 

Since the bus was less than 1/2 full, I imagine that they may entertain other shuttle requests.

 

Probably Bonnie can help with that issue.

On our last cruise the busservice to the airport wasn't in the Land Discoveries brochure. Only one with included excusion that brought you to the airport.

When we entered the room there was again a paper with all possible Land Discoveries and also the possibility to go with special transportation.

Now is port not to "far" (1h) from the airport and the taxi's are waiting for you. I think costs are round €65.

we were in athens this fall and used X-80 from Acropolis directly to the port. I believe another bus X-96 goes directly from the airport to the the port for a few euros per person. Our bus had only 10 or 15 people on board and the bus driver was very helpful in boarding and leaving. The drop off is only a two minute walk from there. Hopefully this info is helpful.

A short cab ride will also get you to the metro which can get you to the airport. Probably costs $25 for two.

If not using the Azamara shuttle we, and at other times our friends, have a favourite taxi driver who meets us at the port for the trip to the airport.
