Fizzlewicket’s Adventure on Oasis of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We have two different Back2Back2Backs booked for the Harmony and won't be able to be with you. Someday, someday, we our cruise paths will cross again.

Enjoy the Harmony! We hope to someday add that one in to our line up also. :)

Wow...you two must never be home any longer! :D

I can't remember...is Solarium Cafe open for lunch on embarkation day? The WJ is always so nutzy crowded, (on any ship for that matter on that day) and we could not find a place to sit at Park Cafe on Oasis.

I truly appreciate the encouragement and kind words while I continue to post each part of this tour/review.

Tonight, we will discover the beauty that is the Solarium as well as take quiet stroll through the pool deck. We will then find one of the ways to get to the Windjammer and view some Windjammer food porn (I ain't ashamed) and if we aren't too full from that, off to the sports deck for some fun.

Why tonight, I need the fix now.

What a great review this is.

Really cannot believe how well it is done.

Thanks

Before we hit the pool deck and one of my favorite spots, the Solarium (maybe the question should be, what is NOT one of my favorite spots on the Oasis of the Seas), let us take a quick look at the Vitality Spa and Fitness Center.

As you walk in your have the salon area to your left and the Vitality Café to your right.

There is a spa product area just after that.

A little further up to the right is the Vitality at Sea Spa …

And directly opposite to the left is the entrance to the Fitness Center.

(I had a few pictures of the Fitness Center, but deleted them because a crewmember told me photos were not allowed there.)

You want to know when I enjoyed the most? It was always very early morning and right before the solarium buffet opened and I enjoyed a healthy second breakfast. The Solarium was filled with the sounds of light jazz and bubbling fountains. The light of the sunrise peeked through the glass walls welcoming you to a new morning. It was wonder to behold. I wish you could have seen it.

Oh wait! You can! Enjoy. :D

Here we find the complementary Solarium buffet.

For breakfast, they offered a small selection of low fat and healthy type items such as egg whites, grilled vegetables, muesli (which actually was surprisingly good), turkey sausage, a variety of fresh fruit, cottage cheese (I could not find that in the windjammer), bagels, smoked salmon and some very tasty muffins. The apple cinnamon ones were especially delicious and found myself heading to the solarium after delivering my wife’s breakfast plate to her to indulge in some cottage cheese, cantaloupe, grapes, and a muffin along with some fat free milk. Later in the week, I discovered those muffins in the same section they use for desserts in the Windjammer.

I never visited the Solarium for lunch, so I am unable to comment on what they served for that meal.
