one bottle/wine in carry on? still allowed?

I was under the assumption I could bring one bottle of wine per person in our carry on.

 

But researching it now it appears that may have changed.

 

Can anyone confirm?

It hasn't changed (at least not for many many years). Perhaps you are thinking of a different line.

 

With NCL you can bring on as many bottles as you like, subject to a $15 a bottle corkage fee, which is paid on embarkation.

Never were able to bring on a bottle on NCL. They have had a $15 corkage charge for years - every 750ml bottle of wine but it can be drunk anywhere.

What happens if you purchase liquor at a port during your trip and return to the ship? I assume your allowed to bring it on board. Any additional charges?

They will take it from you when you reboard and then you can collect it on the final night.

Yes you can bring as many bottles of wine as you wish however there's a $15 corkage fee for each bottle.

As for your original question about can I bring on one bottle you can still do that on Carnival maybe that's the cruise line you were thinking of you.

Your assumption would be valid on the Holland-America cruise line and it would

be 2 bottles and that might be dated information.

I spoke to someone at NCL just a couple hours ago about brining wine onboard. She said,, there is no limit as to how many bottles of wine you bring. They can be consumed anywhere on the ship. They are tagged when you come on so they know you have been charged corkage fees. 750 ml is $15, 1000ml is $20 and magnum or 1500 is $30. Hope this helps.
