If you arrive at the port in Fort Lauderdale (before the doors are opened to begin checking in), is there any protection from rain while you're standing in line outside?

Thanks!

Yes, assuming it is terminal 2, the entire walkway along the side of the building is covered.

What time do they open the doors, our plane arrives at 930 and we were just going to go over to the terminal at that time. Will we be able to get in?

By the time you get your bags and make your way to the terminal they will just about be ready to open the doors.

Depends if you are picking up luggage and how quickly you get your transportation over. You will probably have a short wait. Doors might be close to 10:30. You can't say for sure. Could be sooner.

The covering is very wide and extends out into the pick-up/drop-off zone if at Terminal 2. It's great.
