Hey. Not sure if this question has been asked before, but, what type of coupons are in those booklets that are offered when booking the Nieuw Amsterdam?

Thanks for any info,

Cathy

Usually you have to buy something and you get a discount. Some use them as door stops and some use the coupons, depends on your interest. Stuff like discount on flowers. PG dinner with Adniral wine package or discount, free bingo card with purchase, etc.

We have gotten these booklets a few times. Many people said that they got them from their TA's. The first time we got them, when we got home we asked our TA if she gave them to us -- Nope.

  • 1 month later...

Our TA is a friend of a friend, who isn't a TA full time. She said she didn't know how to get these to our group and that when she's traveled, they just show up. Any rhyme or reason as to who gets them or not? We may buy the Wine Package, so dinner for 2 would be nice. I would probably do the blackjack tournament, also.

When we've gotten them they've just mysteriously showed up too. You might ask your steward if he has any, or ask at the front desk.

Sometimes the booklet is part of a package our TA gives us for transferring our booking to them. Sometimes it just shows up. I only use the coupon for free 15 mins internet when you buy an internet package.

Thats also about the only thing I used mine for. My wife used the Bingo one as I recall. There are a few other decent ones, but since you cannot combine it with the 4 Star perks they did nothing for us.

You can not use the coupon for unlimited laundry. Already tried that. The only one I ever used is the extra minutes for an internet package.

Yup, me too. The funny thing was that there was no instruction for how to use it. No discount code or anything. We had to search (several times) for the computer person to ask how it works.

Good idea! We will ask our steward or the front desk. It sounds like a lot of people don't use them, so it may not be hat hard to ask for one!
