Anthem - Soda package?

Quantum has the "you mix" coke machines that read the special chip in the cups that you receive as part of the soda package. Does anyone know if Anthem has this as well?

 

What is the price of the soda package for a 12 night cruise?

Yes anthem has those machines. They are located throughout the ship. Have to use your soda cup though.

Yes, Freestyle machines are on Anthem.

Sounds like a stupid question but what is in the "soda" package? My son doesn't drink soda, but likes iced tea, lemonade etc. Are there any non-carbonated drinks offered?

Ice tea, lemonade and flavoured water are free. No need to buy a package.

Thank you for all the info. Just one more thing, Ken said Ice tea, lemonade and flavoured water are free, can you get them at those machines or just in the restaurants? That's great that they're free, saves us on one drink package anyway! This is our first RC cruise, we've done a lot of Disney up until now and didn't have to worry about drinks but from what I'm seeing so far RC has a lot of other nice things.

Iced tea is in any eating venue...Lemonade just in WJ. Ice water anywhere.

This is our first RC cruise, we've done a lot of Disney up until now and didn't have to worry about drinks but from what I'm seeing so far RC has a lot of other nice things.

Iced tea and lemonade are usually only available in restaurants. You may find these drinks occasionally at other drink stations, depending on the ship, but it's not reliable.

You will find Anthem identical to Quantum in almost every way.

No, same as they don't read sea pass cards. Only the cup.

 

You can get fountain soda from any bar or restaurant without the cup, but if you want to use the machines you have to have it.
