Pam in CA Posted February 15, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2016 It'll be chilly (probably 60's) and possibly rocky sailing out of LA for the first day or two and then the same returning to LA due to the very cold California Current that flows from the Gulf of Alaska to Baja California. Once the ship approaches Cabo, temps will warm up and probably be upper 70's to low 80's in Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. January pricing, particularly the first couple of weeks, is among the lowest of the year as it's right after the holidays. Whale watching in Cabo is good in January b
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 15, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2016 60's to 80's but just varies. Sometimes cool early in the morning and then warming up by late morning. Keith
Rare Travelw Posted February 15, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Thanks to everyone for the input. I know temps can vary, hoping for at least low 70s during the day.

CruisingJs Posted February 15, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 15, 2016 We just did the 10 day Mexico cruise out of San Francisco last month. Of course it was chilly until we got to Mexican waters and then it was really nice and warm. We had temps in the upper seventies to low eighties for all our ports. Go for it! Rare Hlitner Posted February 15, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 15, 2016 We have been living here in Puerto Vallarta since New Years (this is our winter home) and daily high temps have ranged from about 78 -85 every day. Number of rainy days since New Years is ZERO! I am usually out walking (for several hours) before dawn and there have been a few days where it was a bit chilly (high 50s) before dawn (still wore walking shorts and T shirt).
