Great pictures. Thanks. Brings back memories (of last month, LOL.) Yes, they will be strict about taking pictures around the kids' areas. Better safe than sorry, and all that, I guess.

 

Safe from what? I can take pictures of the kids outside. There were no kids inside when I was taking pictures.

Thanks for sharing your experiences & photos.

 

The reason for the ship's different route through LB was because there had been a midair crash between 2 private planes en route to Torrance airport & search operations restricted the normal route through the Angels Gate breakwater...there were no survivors.

 

Unfortunately Princess doesn't always show live events on the cabin's entertainment system. I've read that licensing fees increase when shown at multiple places on the ship but to me it's just being cheap & maybe they want us out of our cabins buying drinks. I've seen NFL playoff games in Club Fusion which has many TVs & was okay to watch games because as you said it was impossible to get a seat to watch games on MUTS.

Maybe one was hiding behind a chair. :) I was told once that they don't want pictures of the facilities floating around for safety reasons. Who knows. Possibly it has to do with legal liability.

This is one great review with beautiful pictures. Thanks for taking the time to do this! My wife and I will be on the Crown Princess twice this spring. A California coastal cruise in April and a Alaskan cruise in May. Can't wait to board this beautiful ship.

 

I did the California Coastal on the Sapphire Princess in April/May 2012. Sea World was dimming the lights in the Penguin exhibit then. :(

 

Nonetheless, the cruise was great. :) I just wish we arrived in San Francisco about one hour later. We went under the Golden Gate Bridge while it was still dark. :(

Thanks for the very nice review. I love all of the pictures, both in the thread, and on the remote site. I've only looked at the Sandy Ego album so far, but will check all the others also.

 

We look forward to enjoying the Crown Princess in a Canada/New England cruise in fall 2017. We've been on the Emerald and Ruby, so the ship should feel like home to us.

Which Hilton offers the free courtesy ride to the port boarding the Crown April 9 Mexican Rivera

 

None that I know of. The only free shuttle listed by Princess is the LAX -> to Hilton shuttle. That Hilton is across the street from the airport.

Thank you for the great review. I really enjoyed the photos and it brought back memories of my wonderful cruise on the Crown Princess. For everyone looking forward to sailing on her you will enjoy this ship.
